Gabriola Beauty
I got to go out to Gabriola to stay at a friend's cabin again recently. The cabin has been in the family for a long time, and as a result there are some pretty interesting artifacts in the cabin
We had a bit of a hot water tank "issue" while we were there, and spent the rest of the weekend trying to fry out towels by the fireplace and a radiator. It was pretty foggy in the cabin. On another note, the big black patch you can see in the water in the picture below - those are all sand dollars.

Perfect Light
While we were out hiking around Paradise Meadows in Strathcona Park last weekend, my friend Keith happened to sit down in the perfect patch of light, or more accurately shadow. Consequently, he had to sit there while I took a few portraits of him. Luckily, he's a pretty handsome dude.

Whiskey Jacks
I spent a warm sunny weekend up at Mount Washington this week. I took a couple shots of the ever-present, and fearless Whiskey-Jacks, or Grey-Jays.

Baby Piper
I got to meet my gorgeous little niece Piper over the Christmas holidays, she's almost three months old already. Here are a few shots of her I managed to grab during all the Christmas hubbub.

Gabriola Island
I spent the weekend exploring Gabriola Island with a few friends. It's a beautiful little spot just off of Vancouver Island near Nanaimo. Despite it being the beginning of December, we had fantastic weather. Here are a couple shots I took on our explorations.
