As promised, here is a bonus photo for the black and white photo challenge. I also shot this yesterday, also using the reverse lens macro, this time with a tripod for added juggling. Any guesses on what is pictured here?

Day 5 of the Five Day Black and White Photo Challenge
I decided to shoot a photo within my home for the final day of the black and white photo challenge. My husband is, among other things, a machinist, and the by product of machining is mounds of metal shards in all sorts or shapes and curls. This photo is a reverse lens macro of a pile of metal shards. Its unfortunate that something so beautiful can be such a nuisance in every day life.

Day 4 of the Five Day Black and White Photo Challenge
Looks like I'm going with business days! Here is a photo I took of my big guy Steve exploring the back yard.

Day 3 of the Five Day Black and White Challenge
I had some company while I was out taking yesterday's photograph. Luckily he was sitting quite still, which allowed me to do a longer exposure and soften the water.

Black and White Photo Challenge Day 2
So, for day two of the challenge, I went out to shoot a photo. I spotted this log while walking the dog on Mount Doug Beach this weekend, and knew I wanted to come back with a camera and tripod.

Black and White Photo Challenge Day 1
I was invited to participate in a #fivedayblackandwhitechallenge by Chris Bone. This might actually be a bit of a challenge for me, as I don't tend towards black and white edits. Maybe something good will come from trying it out though. So here is my day one edit, a shot I took as we were walking across the Brooklyn Bridge on our trip to New York.
